This program is a great, whether you have zero experience or you have some work under your belt already. If you show up, pay attention, and ask questions when you need to, you’re guaranteed to “level up” your HVACing abilities so to speak. It’s important to realize that while the content can be dense at times, the fundamentals are fundamental for a reason; they are completely necessary, and this school does a great job at conveying that. The instructors are knowledgeable and well versed, and they were able to explain some of those tougher subjects in a way that was digestible.When you graduate, your resume will look much more attractive to prospective employers. It may be difficult to find your “dream” job right after finishing the program, as nothing happens overnight usually. But with some market research and personal evaluation, it is relatively easy to find opportunities. The main variable is your ability to present yourself and demonstrate that you are a dependable person.There’s no school that can teach you everything because no one person knows everything there is to know about HVAC, but this school can definitely put you ahead of the learning curve, as well as prepare you for your journey of developing your craft. Concise, simple, and you know the ins and outs using Chris Walter’s method. Knowing what every part does and seeing the inner parts cut open give you a deeper understanding it’s use case, lifespan, and troubleshooting than just knowing it’s purpose.Great course and went by quicker than I thought. Shane’s an approachable and friendly instructor who you can always learn from his lectures and stories. H went through the ins and outs of everything and every question, and whatever you’re a little iffy on you can spend the remaining free days working on whatever you want and ask questions. No man left behind.

I attended Chris’s class back in 2015. Believe he was just starting his training school. For me was more of a refresher course as I got certified in trade school that took 2 years and learned more in his class that actually stuck. Hands on experience in life situational simulations allowed me to retain the knowledge needed. I spent 3 years with couple different ac companies in Galveston. In 2018 one of the largest ac companies in panhandle of Florida Peaden recruited me as a service tech and still with them today in fact I am now the hvac install manager in ft Walton beach. I strongly believe without Chris’s knowledge and direction I would not be where I am today. I recommend this school to anyone whether zero experience or needing to brush up on current knowledge. Great experience all around attending this school. Thought I had a good handle on HVAC until I took this class and man I realized I didn’t know much. In my experience, Shane was the primary teacher. He did a great job making me and others feel included even when most of us didn’t know each other prior. The class has MANY opportunities for hands on work and if you take those opportunities and pay attention, you will find success. I drove nearly 1000 miles to attend this 10 week class. Found a job as a service tech. apprentice thanks to their resources in job searching. If you’re serious about the HVAC field this is a great option for education.

I attended The Training Center from January to March of 2022. Within a week of graduating, I landed a job as an HVAC Technician. My current employer hired me on the spot, based upon their knowledge of the expertise taught at the Training Center.Chris Walters has put together a realistic curriculum. You will learn what you need to know to be successful without all the fluff! The hands-on approach in the classroom is top notch and Shane instructs the class, covering every possible contingency encountered in the field. In fact, in many cases, I know more about certain topics than techs with 5 years experience or more! I took the night class session in the first half of 2022 to fit it with my work schedule. And I learned a lot. We got three leads who visited that Shane told us about, along with sheets of companies that they hire by. I gave those 3 leads a call and emailed my resume. Had interviews from all of them and now I'm hired by one of them at the moment. Sometimes it's hard to pay attention when you've had a long day, but he's very generous about his teaching and giving you the time when you have questions. Shane is also a very personable and fun to be around, overall amazing instructor. Thank you for have a program that was affordable and short-winded enough to get me into the field with job in a new career. I'm very grateful. I recommend this to anyone who wants to try their luck at HVAC.

Attended a free session for homeowners that presented a wealth of information on how to get competent HVAC service that is fairly priced. Chris did an excellent job of presenting a lot of really useful material that would benefit any homeowner. It was 2 hours very well spent by those of us who attended. He is not selling anything, but just seems dedicated to educating consumers on how to get the most out of whatever money they have to spend on HVAC. My thanks to Chris for doing this.

It may have been the best short course I've ever attended; full of useful information, practical advice, and exposure to the real equipment in the training workshop.The information about R-22 system maintenance and possible replacement refrigerants vs. whole system change out for R-410A alone may save me thousands of dollars over the next few years.

When I came for a tour of the school I knew I was going to enroll simply because of how Chris was very detailed on what they teach and how hands on the school is. I had Shane as my instructor really good instructor he makes class fun but also very knowledgeable about the trade. Most definitely recommend checking this school out before any other !

Very knowledgeable, patient and hilarious to say the least. You have fun while you learn. Repetition is key, and you will get plenty of that here. Chris is a walking H-Vac system! You will be blown away by the knowledge that this school provides.Very coordinated and informal. DO NOT! Submit to a school before checking these guys out. I almost made the same mistake!

I came with no knowledge at all of HVAC , Now in my last week of school I can proudly say that i can do everything from diagnose the unit , wiring a condenser or furnace , charge a unit , take the superheat and supercool , Do a pump down or a full recovery and a lot of other things , It's a hands-on school so don't expect to be in your workbook all class , The environment is very friendly and the instructors take the time on explaining everything , Overall is the best HVAC school you could invest your time and money in , It is really worth it and I fully recommended.
